Description:

This will allow the peddler to continue to pedal after the red light has lit indicating that the capacitor has over charged. It will prevent the capacitor from over charging any more. When the capacitor gets to 15 volts DC and the generator continues to supply voltage, the voltage will be drained across a resistor, or the generator will be opened to the capacitor. When the voltage across the capacitor drops. the circuit will go back to normal and the capacitor will continue to be charged.

The circuit will have minimal drain when it is on standby.

Down Hill Charging

Will quick charge a 12 volt battery while riding bike down a hill

Alienate mode will trickle charge 12 volt battery while powering amplifier

Description:

This will allow the generator to charge a battery quickly when the bike is going down hill and the generator is engaged. The obstacle to over come is when the bike is going down hill fast and the generator produces more watts than can be charged into the battery in a short period of time. The idea of this circuit is to use all the power provided by the generator to charge the battery with out damaging it. This may require a specific battery.

Description:

When the peddlers are peddling as hard as they can. While the output volume is monitored, the output volume is lowered as the bike indicators drop bellow green.
